Permitless carriers are subject to the same laws, rules and prohibitions as CHL (Concealed Handgun License) holders.
Get Educated and Know The Law
This 8-hour course meets the State of Ohio requirements to apply for your Ohio CHL License. All levels of shooters are welcome. The class consists of 6 hours in the classroom and 2 hours of live-fire. Students will learn basic pistol skills and firearm safety Student will learn to developing a personal and home protection plan, self-defense firearm basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the legal use of force, violent encounters and their aftermath, basic and advanced skills. In addition, students will have use of the innovative virtual shooting range simulation system and trainer pistols during class time.
You will need to bring eye and hearing protection, pistol, and 100 rounds of factory standard ammunition (NO RELOADED AMMO IN CLASS).
Recommended Pistol caliber .22 to .40 for indoor range. Please contact us if you are in need of a loaner pistol, ammo eye or hearing protections. Coffee and lunch will be provided.
